Women's Watch Sizing Guide
Finding the right watch size is crucial for comfort and aesthetics. This guide helps you determine the perfect fit.
Measuring Your Wrist
- Use a flexible tape measure around your wrist bone
- Alternatively, wrap a strip of paper and measure the length
- Note your wrist circumference in inches or centimeters
Recommended Sizes by Wrist Circumference
| Wrist Size | Recommended Case Size |
|---|---|
| Under 5.5" (14cm) | 26-32mm |
| 5.5" - 6" (14-15cm) | 28-34mm |
| 6" - 6.5" (15-16.5cm) | 32-38mm |
| 6.5" - 7" (16.5-18cm) | 36-42mm |
| Over 7" (18cm+) | 38-44mm+ |
Key Measurements
- Case diameter — Width of the watch face
- Lug-to-lug — Total length including lugs (most important for fit)
- Case thickness — How much the watch sits up from the wrist
- Lug width — Determines strap compatibility
Golden Rule
The lugs should never overhang your wrist. If they do, the watch is too big regardless of how the diameter looks.
Our Recommendation
When in doubt, try watches in person. Online photos often make watches look smaller than they are. Most women find 34-38mm to be the versatile sweet spot.
